A bit about Lora...
In college, I studied three things – literature, history, and psychology. While this is an unconventional combination, it’s great for my clients. I’m familiar with a variety of writing styles, and have a strong knowledge base that enables me to help you overcome the challenges of proofreading, fact checking, and document structure. I handle the “boring” stuff so you don’t have to.
I read – a lot – and realized I proofread and analyze everything from books to blogs to instruction manuals. So i figured out instead of only sharing through book reviews, I wanted to help creators improve their content. And Magnolia Publications was born.

Imagine if you were able to write what you love without worrying about the end result. By working with me in a judgement free zone, I can help. Sometimes clients have a fantastic idea but aren’t feel there’s something missing from their writing. Others have an entire book written but are uncertain if they’re sharing the story in the best way possible. Some just need a final polish to their manuscript, or don’t know how what to do to market their book.
That’s where I come in. I offer services ranging from manuscript evaluations to full developmental edits to copy edits to social media posting consultations and everything in between.

I review books for free and am happy to read yours. If your book is on KU, I can read there; otherwise, I do ask a copy be sent to me since otherwise I’m spending money for my service.
